If you are a rider of a motorcycle who is aged between 16 and 24 years old there is the opportunity to take a free road safety and awareness course at Damerells, St Columb on 6th June. Spaces are limited. Please view the link for details; YOUNG RIDER GEAR UP UPDATE!. Mums and Dads this time it's heading to Cornwall on the 6th June at Damerells motorcycles in St Columb, almost halfway between St Austell and Newquay. At this time we have 6 free spaces for your 16 - 24 yr olds. The day is free of charge and will run from 0915 - 1630 hours. The course consists of a mornings classroom interactive presentation (honestly it is fun), followed by a hazard awareness session in the motorcycle simulator and a first aid input from our partners from Doc Bike. We break for lunch and there is an on site cafe or bring your own lunch, then we head out onto the track for some slow riding skills with our colleagues from the IAM and then out on the road for an observed ride of about 1 hour. The day is fun packed, interactive and really relaxed whilst delivering lifesaving skills that will keep you safe for life as long as you keep using them. You will receive a certificate at the end of the day confirming you have attended the course. ONLY 6 PLACES LEFT SORRY.....1ST COME 1ST SERVED ON THIS OCCASSION. A massive thank you to Steve Damerell who so kindly allows us to use his facilities all the time, an absolute gentleman! The simulator will be on site all day and will be open to the public once it has been used for training, so please come along and get your youngsters involved.....who knows you might even buy a bike from Steve!!! Bike Safe this weekend is running from Ocean BMW FALMOUTH on Saturday 19th May and we still have a few spaces so if want to join us and have a great day out please go to https://orlo.uk/G6UTe Thank you and stay safe.
